The Hotel is ideal for a stop off when motoring through France. Friendly staff, secure car parking and being within easy reach of the quite attractive town are good points. Being two star do not expect more. It is fairly basic but clean and comfortable enough. We would stay there again.

Very friendly and hospitable manager who helped us arrange our stay. We rang the hotel before arriving and were 'upgraded' room-wise for no extra cost. Great service.

We had a wonderful stay at the Belle Epoque in Chinon. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was excellent. We were able to walk everywhere and explore the town easily. Marie Claude, the owner, was incredibly kind and gave us great advice on things to do. We loved chatting with her and felt right at home in her beautifully decorated hotel. The art work was interesting and added a unique touch. The staff were also very helpful and provided us with a map of the area. The secure parking was a bonus, giving us peace of mind during our stay.
